KIDS 12 AND OVER ARE WELCOME TO TRAIN
Our goal
To teach basic handling skills to people and their dogs in order to create a harmonious relationship between you and your dog.
The improvements that you see in your dogs behavior will depend on the amount of at-home training he receives.

Things to bring to class:
A baggie full of soft dog treats or hot dogs.
Your dogs favorite toy.
Your dog must wear either a flat nylon or leather collar.
Special training collars may be needed as advised by the trainer.
Dogs must be on a 6 foot cotton web or leather leash.  No retractable, nylon or chain leashes.

Class Rules:
If your dog has been showing any signs of illness, please keep him home and come to class without your dog.   If you have a
female in heat, please leave her home throughout her heat.
Bring your dog to class hungry.  Feed him a few hours before class if possible.
Please bring your own jug of water and water bowl.
While in a group class, please try to maintain 5 feet between all other dogs.  Respect your classmates.
We take children 12 and over to attend class with their dog,  but an adult must be present during class time.
Family members are encouraged to come to watch and learn.

Beginner/Puppy Basics:
Developmental training for puppies 3 - 5 months.
Socialization with people and other dogs.  Sit, down, walking on leash, come when called, learn not to pull or jump.
For dogs over 5  months of age who have not been through any training. Sit, stand, down, come, stay, heel ... with
distractions. Classes will be approximately 45 minutes.
At-home practice - 10 minutes twice a day.

Basic Obedience:
Expand previously learned behaviors: sit, down, come, walk on lead.  Add: stays, heel, recall, distraction.
Classes will be 1 hour.
Spring Session Starts June 8th
Sessions are $120.00 for 6 weeks
